American Corner is happy to welcome you to the library. We want to provide and maintain a safe and secure library environment for you. Some behaviors are not suitable in libraries. These Guidelines allow us to give the best service to everyone.
Please use these guidelines while at the library:
Do:
-Stay with children under 8
-Limit the number of bags you bring
-Announce your use of computers and internet, and use them properly
-Use low voices if people are reading
-Dress appropriately and keep your personal hygiene while at Library
-Keep books, magazines, furniture and equipment where it is
-Be careful if you consume food and drink at the reading room
Don't:
-Smoke or sleep in the Library
-Misuse library furniture, equipment, restroom or premises
-Steal, damage or destroy materials or property
-Distribute or post printed materials or deliver speeches without a permit
-Gamble, sell, solicit or panhandle -Threaten, assault or use any other physical violence
